MyGuide is a project for a positive and smooth everyday experience. The users are able to locate themselves inside politecnico and navigate to reach their desired destination. They can also manoeuvre around obstacles using MyGuide Smart Cane which is an easy-to-use system that receives the determines the current location of the user and the specified destination (through voice commands from the users) directing them accordingly.

The feedback to the user is in the form of audio and/or vibrating walking cane. MyGuide is able to detect obstacles with reasonable accuracy and route the user through less the hallways in Politecnico. The MyGuide walking cane vibrates to guide users through hallways by vibrating to indicate possible obstacle.
